Amami Onsen Nantenen

Nanten-en is a traditional ryokan with natural hot springs located deep the countryside yet just 40 minutes from central Osaka and 90 minutes from Kansai Airport.
The 100-year-old main building is a registered cultural property built in the style of a tea house and guests can experience traditional activities such as tea ceremony and Ikebana flower arranging.
It sits on the Koya Kaido, a 1,000-year-old pilgrimage road that leads to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Koyasan. The surrounding villages are steeped in nearly 2.000 years of history and the rustic setting is a great contrast to the bright lights and noise of central Osaka.
